Miami Spur Fundraiser 7 Oct 2004

by Daphne Banks

eSimphiwe/Thokomala Transitional Home for Abandoned Babies, in Umhlanga, is celebrating the home's FIRST YEAR of existence. This is an invitation to come and eat at the Miami Spur on Thursday 7 October 2004.

As a special fundraiser, Spur will give us a percentage on the whole day's turnover. We would like to encourage all, employees, family and friends to go to the Miami Spur in the Sands Hotel, situated in the North end of Lagoon Drive, Umhlanga. If you llive too far to return later in the evening with your family, how about having lunch or tea time at the Spur? Every little bit helps a lot and we at eSimphiwe/Thokomala are most grateful for any support!

We did a trial run on 20 November 2004 and were handed R1600-00 from the Spur. PLEASE help us to communicate this fundraising effort to more people by telling your friends, or emailing anyone you know. We hope to triple the first amount!

There will also be a collection "baby bottle" at the front desk for "gifts" of excess change or notes...

To see what your money is doing, we invite everyone to visit our "Baby House" as referred to fondly by those who know us. More information available from Daphne Banks on Cell: 082 807 9027.

Thank you for the support of our old friends and looking forward to meeting our new friends!
