Our Vision

Our Vision

Mission: To provide a transition home for abandoned and / or aids orphaned or affected babies, between the ages of 0 and 24 months by nurturing them on a one on one basis, to give them a chance of adoption or placement within a loving family of their own.
 
Transition Homes: We have three separate Transition Homes situated in Durban, Camperdown and Richmond with full time staff, compromising of a child care supervisor, child care workers and a house keeper who are supervised, guided and directed by our Executive Director, Daphne Banks.

The Story of Owen, the Miracle Baby 

 
Owen was born October 25th, 2002 in Durban, South Africa. He initially lived in a few different foster homes before arriving in Peter and Daphne Banks’ home. When he arrived in their home he was a frightened little boy that needed love and help to improve his physical and emotional abilities; he was just beginning to sit up by himself and he was behind in motor skills.
